Bodypoint Essentials Two-Point and Four-Point Padded Hip Belts
Now you can get the high-quality materials and innovations you expect from Bodypoint, but at a more accessible price point! Our Bodypoint Essentials Hip Belt line has been value-engineered to offer a cost-effective product with trusted Bodypoint quality and features.
Bodypoint Essentials Padded Hip Belts are available in two buckle styles:
- New DuraLatchTM Buckle – This durable and stylish aircraft-style buckle has a patented design created specifically for CRT use. Designed with an easy-to-lift cover, this buckle accommodates all levels of hand function. Add optional Pull Loop (sold separately) to slot on buckle cover to make release even easier. A two-stage release and wide 70° opening angle minimize accidental detachment. Comfortable, lightweight resin significantly exceeds ISO standards for strength. Available in sizes M46 and L62.
- Side Release Buckle – Familiar design is lightweight, crush resistant, and prevents accidental release. Available in sizes S38, M46 and L62.
All belts are center-pull and include Metal-reinforced Plastic Flat-MountTM end-fittings for mounting. Adjustment straps feature a teal-accented folded end stop that is easy to locate and grasp.
At Bodypoint the difference is in the details, and Bodypoint Essentials Two-Point Padded Hip Belts are no different. Just as with our other padded hip belts, these products feature:
- A CORDURA® fabric outer layer and proprietary edge binding to eliminate wrinkles, preserve skin integrity and comfort, and increase durability and dirt-resistance
- High-performance foam pads that offer superior resiliency and pressure distribution, while soft, wrinkle-free fabric lining optimizes comfort
- Proprietary nylon webbing that is tightly woven to resist abrasion and prevent twisting, yet flexible enough for easy tightening through the buckle
- Strength and durability you can count on. Like all our other postural supports, Bodypoint Essentials hip belts are tested to all applicable ISO and ANSI/RESNA standards.

A The pull syle is based on the type of adjustment you need to make to help position the client appropriately. If you are unsure of which style to choose, please consult with and ATP or seating specialist.
Q What is the difference between a two point or four point pelvic belt
A While both belts offer great support, the four-point belt is able to offer more firm positioning and stays in place better due to the anchor/tether straps.
